Barrie Fee Sanders is a printmaker. Her handmade prints are created using woodcut, screen printing, and relief printing.

A Nantucket native, Barrie was raised on this little spit of sand 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts, in the old historic district of the island. Her whimsical and unique prints are inspired by her childhood memories and her appreciation of the everyday. Find her at the Saturday Sustainable Nantucket market, the art gallery and guest cottages at White Elephant Nantucket, Wednesday morning pop-ups in the village of ‘Sconset, Pip & Anchor, and Born and Bread. To order prints directly, and stay up to date on pop-ups and new work, follow along on Instagram @barrie.prints.

Her move to full-time artist began with a printmaking project. Barrie carved and printed 60 images of her Nantucket childhood memories in the 6 months leading up to her 60th birthday. To read the accompanying stories, visit @60_by_60 here.

Maps of Nantucket streets are hand-drawn and carved, then inked and printed.
